This is Their Story
How did you meet? When?
Ana: In 2003 we met at a house party Rafi’s brother Elvin was having.
Rafael: 2003, it was a beautiful day. We met at a party. I bit her on the ass when she was walking up the stairs of the apartment building; she turned around and smacked me in the face.
Who asked who out first?
Ana: I asked Rafi out first. I remember him stuttering and getting super nervous. He was so nervous he repeated “ you’re my girlfriend about 20 times “
Rafael: She asked me out. I picked her up in a stolen car, she knew nothing. I’ve changed my ways since then.
What is your favorite memory of each other?
Ana: I remember one year for my birthday Rafi woke me up sing happy birthday, he was holding a hostess cupcake with a candle in it. He had pink roses and a gift for me at the edge of the bed.
Rafael: We had really fun times fishing together, most of the time I just caught a buzz (she drove us home).
What do you like most about the other person?
Ana: This is a tough question to answer because they’re so many things I like about Rafi but here are a few. The things I like most about Rafi is how caring he is he goes above and beyond for anyone he cares about. He has a good way of making me feel loved and safe and he is the best father to our four year old daughter Lyana.
Rafael: Her kindness she’s always willing to help everyone.
What is your favorite way of spending time together?
Ana: We like eating and drinking together, which is the reason I put on 50 lbs .
Rafael: We are foodies we love to go explore different areas and their food.
How did you get engaged?
Ana: Rafi asked me to marry him last March 2020 at the cemetery where my brother and father are buried.
Rafael: I decided to propose when we were on vacation in Florida. The reason I choose the cemetery is because I wanted Ana’s father and brother to know first. I know they were the two most important people in her life.
What is your favorite place that you have traveled to?
Ana: Florida to visit our family and friends.
Rafael: We’ve had a great time in the Punta Gorda, FL area.
Why did you decide on a destination wedding?
Ana: I wanted a stress free wedding experience.
Rafael: It’s an awesome idea. I do not understand why all weddings are not destination weddings.

One Bedroom Resort Residence
This 710 sqf / 66 sqm Residence is decorated with art lamps, sculptures and large paintings on the walls. The bedroom has a king size bed with large wooden sliding doors that open up to a separate living room adorned modernly and equipped with a double pull out sofa bed. This suite also provides a full kitchen with granite countertops (refrigerator microwave, oven and stove), and a dining table. Occupancy: 4 People (Max 3 Adults)
One Bedroom Swim Up Residence
Step from the main pool and water deck to this gorgeous 710 square-foot suite, adorned with art lamps, sculptures and paintings. The bedroom has a king size bed with large wooden sliding doors that open to a living room with a double pull out sofa bed. This luxury swim-up suite features a full kitchen with granite countertops, a refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove, and a dining table. Relax on the furnished terrace and dive right into the refreshing pool. Occupancy: 3 Adults
One Bedroom Penthouse Residence
Indulge your senses in this luxurious 1,119 square-foot penthouse with contemporary décor and indoor/outdoor living spaces. Located on the top floor, this one-bedroom penthouse features a private rooftop lounge designed for tranquility and entertaining. Enjoy the “al fresco” lifestyle with a lounge area with a half bathroom, a patio with a table for 6, a pergola, barbecue grill, at whirlpool tub for two, chaise lounges, a relaxing Bali bed, and views of the gardens and pools.

Important Information
We know there are a hundred online places to book a room. However, the couple is counting on you to book here on their website, so you are part of their group. They are planning an incredible experience for you which requires your room reservation. Ensure you are part of the group by booking into their room block here.
Please know that this resort requires all guest rooms to be booked within the couple’s room block. The hotel charges a minimum of $100 per person to attend the wedding events if you do not book one of the rooms the couple is holding. To avoid extra fees, please make sure to book here.
Insurance
Per the Refund Policy, deposits and payments made towards your trip are non-refundable. If you choose to forgo insurance, you will be solely responsible for any and all fees if any change, cancellation, interruption, delay or additional expense occurs.
There are two insurance options for you to consider:
Option #1: CANCEL INSURANCE
By purchasing Cancel Insurance, you are protecting your vacation investment. If needed, you can cancel your trip prior to departure for any reason. Simply call us or the number in your travel documents at any time prior to the day of departure to confirm your cancellation and receive a complete refund, minus the cost of the insurance. There are no refunds when Cancel Insurance is declined. Once the Cancel Insurance policy is purchased, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. For guests sharing a room, if one person in the room accepts insurance, everyone else in the room must also have insurance. This policy offers no other protection other than the cancellation option. You will accept or decline this option on the reservation form when you book. Cancel Insurance is only available at the time of deposit. If you decline Cancel Insurance when making your initial reservation, you will not be able to add it later. If you prefer a more comprehensive insurance policy, please purchase a policy from a third-party provider such as Travel Guard or Allianz (Option #2 below).
New rooms booked after the final payment date are not eligible for Cancel Insurance.
Cancel Insurance is $199 per person.
Option #2: TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Insurance is available and strongly recommended. If you wish to have coverage for things such as cancellations, medical, lost luggage, trip delay, interruption or evacuation, please purchase a policy directly from a third-party provider such as Travel Guard or Allianz, or one of your choice. There are several policy options for you to choose from. “Cancel for any reason” or “Cancel anytime” options may be available and usually give you more cancellation flexibility. For questions or quotes, please contact the insurance provider directly by following the links below.
Passports
A valid passport is required for all travelers, regardless of age. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after you return home. For more information regarding passports and entry requirements, please visit www.Travel.State.Gov.
Flights
Flights are not included with our room block. If we did group air, everyone would need to be on the same plane, and that just doesn’t happen with wedding groups. Please feel free to book the flights on your own. Usually the best time to book a flight is 5-6 months prior to travel when all airlines have their schedules available. We recommend using Google Flights to research fares, but then book directly with the airline you’re flying with. This will ensure you the best airfare. Fares are the same everywhere, but you’ll get much better service working with the airline instead of Orbitz, Expedia or Cheap Tickets. Remember to also check www.Southwest.com as their flights only show up on their own website.
Airport
When you book your flights, be sure you are flying into the CANCUN airport, code CUN. Transfers Round trip airport transfers (the ride between the airport and hotel) are a service we include with your room package. To confirm this service for you, we must submit a complete list of passengers and flights to the transfer company at least 45 days prior to travel. We will be sending you emails about this so you can submit your flight itinerary to us via the link. To ensure a seamless experience when traveling, please provide us with your flight itinerary as soon as you can. The transfers included will pick you up at the airport on the day we have you checking in at the resort and bring you back to the airport on the day we have you checking out. Deviations to dates and vehicle upgrades are available for an additional cost.
RSVP Deadline
As a courtesy to the couple, please RSVP by making your room deposit by November 30, 2022. This lets the couple know who is attending so they can plan their wedding events for the correct number of guests. Missed the deadline? That’s okay, it happens. Please still book your room here and we will work on confirming for the room for you, however, inventory and group rates will be subject to availability.
Deposit
The deposit for the room is $200 per room, plus the cost of Cancel Insurance if accepted.
Final Payments
All rooms must be paid in full by January 31, 2023. There is a $50 late payment penalty applied to reservations that are not paid in full by this date. If the reservation is not paid in full within 7 days of the final payment date, the reservation will automatically cancel and all payments will be forfeited.
Rates
Rates are per person and are based on the number of adults sharing the room. “Single” means 1 adult alone in a room. “Double” means 2 adults sharing a room. “Triple” is 3, and so on. The rates are also by room category. You can find descriptions on the “Resort & Rooms” tab. For example, 2 adults sharing the One Bedroom Resort Residence for 4 nights would be $840 per adult. The total cost of this room would be $1,680.
Rooms are priced “Per Person” because the resort is all-inclusive. Child rates apply only after there are 2 paying adults in the room. For example, 1 adult and 1 child would be billed as 2 adults. Prices include private round trip transfers, hotel stay, all meals, snacks, drinks, entertainment, and taxes. Rates are valid for all guests holding a US Passport. If your passport is issued by another country other than the US, please contact us for options. We are unable to accept payments from outside the US. We are holding rooms for April 12-19, 2023. You may request to stay before or after these dates. We will just need to get confirmation from the hotel before we can send your receipt.
Revisions
We understand that you may need to modify your reservation after it is booked. For this reason, there is no fee for your first revision as long as it completed prior to the final payment date. Any additional revisions will incur a $50 revision fee. Revision fees are non-refundable, even if you have insurance, and must be paid at the time of the revision. Revisions are not allowed after the Final Payment date.
