This is Their Story
- When and how did you meet? In 6th grade at Oakland Middle School.
- Who asked who out first? Brittney: Justin asked me out.
- What is your favorite memory of each other? Brittney: Our first real date we went to Van Gogh and we had the sunflower room all to ourselves and it was beautiful and romantic. Justin: My favorite memory with Brittney is the first time we hung out after reconnecting. We walked for hours on the trail while talking and had to walk back in the dark.
- What do you like most about the other person? Brittney: Justin is so sweet and very loving. Justin: My favorite thing about Brittney is how fun and adventurous she is. She always makes me laugh and makes every day a special memory.
- What is your favorite way of spending time together? We love to take walks on the trail or go to the river, we also love backroading. We love to explore new places together.
- How did you get engaged? Brittney: Justin took me to a romantic dinner at Chris McD’s then took me to the river to our favorite spot and proposed as the sun went down.
- What is your favorite place that you have traveled to? An amazing trip to Sybaris in Chicago. We had a pool and hot tub in our room!
- Why did you decide on a destination wedding? We love to travel! We wanted somewhere romantic and to do things we had never done. We are excited to enjoy a vacation with everyone for our special day!

We know there are a hundred online places to book a room. However, the couple is counting on you to book here on their website, so you are part of their group. They are planning an incredible experience for you which requires your room reservation. Ensure you are part of the group by booking into their room block here.
Please know that this resort requires all guest rooms to be booked within the couple’s room block. The hotel charges a minimum of $100 per person to attend the wedding events if you do not book one of the rooms the couple is holding. To avoid extra fees, please make sure to book here.
Important Information
Insurance
Per the Refund Policy, deposits and payments made towards your trip are non-refundable. If you choose to forgo insurance, you will be solely responsible for any and all fees if any change, cancellation, interruption, delay or additional expense occurs.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Insurance is available and strongly recommended. If you wish to have coverage for things such as cancellations, medical, lost luggage, trip delay, interruption or evacuation, please purchase a policy directly from a third-party provider such as Allianz, or one of your choice. There are several policy options for you to choose from. For questions or quotes, please contact the insurance provider directly by following the links below.
Passports
A valid passport is required for all travelers, regardless of age. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after you return home. For more information regarding passports and entry requirements, please visit www.Travel.State.Gov.
Airport
If you choose to book your own flights, please be sure you are flying into the Cancun airport, code CUN. Transfers Round trip airport transfers (the ride between the airport and hotel) are a service we include with your room package. To confirm this service for you, we must submit a complete list of passengers and flights to the transfer company at least 45 days prior to travel. We will be sending you emails about this so you can submit your flight itinerary to us via the link. To ensure a seamless experience when traveling, please provide us with your flight itinerary as soon as you can. The transfers included will pick you up at the airport on the day we have you checking in at the resort and bring you back to the airport on the day we have you checking out. Deviations to dates and vehicle upgrades are available for an additional cost.
RSVP Deadline
As a courtesy to the couple, please RSVP by making your room deposit by February 1, 2023. This lets the couple know who is attending so they can plan their wedding events for the correct number of guests. Missed the deadline? That’s okay, it happens. Please still book your room here and we will work on confirming for the room for you, however, inventory will be subject to availability.
Deposit
The deposit for the room is $200 per person. If you choose to book a package with flights, your flights will need to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Final Payments
All bookings must be paid in full by April 15, 2023. There is a $50 late payment penalty applied to reservations that are not paid in full by this date. If the reservation is not paid in full within 7 days of the final payment date, the reservation will automatically cancel and all payments will be forfeited.

Please use the link below to request a quote. You will need the number of travelers and travel dates. The quote can be for the hotel only or with flights. Once submitted, please allow up to 2 business days to receive the quote. It will be sent via email.
Revisions
We understand that you may need to modify your reservation after it is booked. For this reason, there is no fee for your first revision as long as it completed prior to the final payment date. Any additional revisions will incur a $50 revision fee. Revision fees are non-refundable, even if you have insurance, and must be paid at the time of the revision. Revisions are not allowed after the Final Payment date.
